As Maintenance Lead you will support the Senior Maintenance Manager with the day-to-day running of the building's maintenance operations. Working closely with the electrical team, the role will form part of a team responsible for keeping the store trading at all times, whilst keeping on top of planned & reactive maintenance and coordinating contractors. The role will allow time to support with operational planning as well as deliver hands on maintenance.
Qualification/Experience Requirements:
- Experience in maintenance or facilities management within a large or complex building.
- A good understanding of building services, maintenance principles and health & safety awareness.
- Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise multiple tasks within a busy environment
- IT literate with experience in Microsoft office.
- Ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external contractors.
- Recognised Level 3 electrical qualification
Key Accountabilities
- Support the Senior Maintenance Manager with operational workload, reporting, planning and taking ownership of agreed areas of responsibility.
- Act as the first point of escalation for day-to-day maintenance issues, resolving problems where possible and escalate if required.
- Support with the delivery of statutory compliance, inspections and testing across all building services via maintenance team and external contractors. All documentation to be recorded and uploaded to Fenwick maintenance portal.
- Support with coordinating contractors, ensuring that all enabling works are complete in advance of their attendance. Enabling works to include, but not limited to, mechanical & electrical services.
- Working as part of the electrical team on site to ensure that the store is always covered, including evenings and weekends where required.
- Undertake hands on maintenance and utilise the wider team’s skillset to deal with issues efficiently.
Please Note that this role includes evening and weekend work on structured basis.
