We are currently recruiting Healthcare Assistants / Support Workers to join our team and provide high-quality care to patients within adult wards and outpatient services. You will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or senior healthcare professional, supporting patients with daily activities while ensuring their comfort, dignity, and wellbeing.
Previous healthcare experience is essential. This role is ideal for individuals who are compassionate, reliable, and interested in developing a career in healthcare.
Key Responsibilities- Assisting patients with personal care, including washing, dressing, and hygiene
- Supporting patients with mobility and toileting needs
- Serving meals and assisting with feeding where required
- Monitoring and recording basic observations such as temperature, pulse, respirations, and weight
- Helping maintain a clean and safe environment, including bed making and general ward duties
- Providing emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families
- Reporting any changes in patient condition to nursing staff
Flexible shifts including mornings, long days, evenings, and nights. Shifts typically range from 6-12 hours. Availability required Monday to Sunday, including weekends, depending on the rota.
