About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Domiciliary Care Driver to join our care team in the Warrington area. You will play a key role in supporting our clients to live independently in their own homes by providing personal care support, and companionship where required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, person-centred care to clients in their homes, including:
  • Assistance with personal care (e.g., washing, dressing, toileting) where required
  • Helping with medication prompts
  • Supporting clients with daily living tasks
  • Build positive, trusting relationships with clients, respecting dignity, privacy and individual needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided, client interactions and any incidents.
  • Report any concerns about client wellbeing, or safeguarding matters promptly to the appropriate manager.
  • Adhere to all health and safety, safeguarding, and company policies and procedures.
  • Person Specification

    Essential
    • Full UK driving licence with no serious endorsements and the ability to drive in the UK.
    • Experience in a similar role (e.g., care work, driving service users, patient transport).
    • Good understanding of person-centred care and basic health care needs.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Reliable, punctual, and organised.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
    Desirable
    • Previous experience in domiciliary care or health/social care settings.
    • First Aid / Manual Handling / Safeguarding training (or willingness to complete).
    • Knowledge of Warrington and surrounding areas.
