Something new is being built. We'd like you to help build it. Fenton Fitzwilliam launched in Dublin and Brussels last year. Now we're growing in the UK and looking for the people who will help define what we become. We're a specialist advisory firm within the Paritee network, working with organisations at the sharp end of some of the most consequential debates of our time: energy transition, infrastructure investment, defence, telecoms and pharmaceutical regulation. Our clients don't just need communications support, they need to be understood. That's our founding principle, and it shapes everything we do. This is a rare chance to join a new and growing agency at the ground floor. To help shape its culture, its reputation and its way of working, backed by the resources and international reach of one of Europe's leading advisory networks.

Why this moment matters

Most agencies ask you to slot into something established. We're asking you to help build something new. You'll have real influence over how we work, who we work with and what kind of agency we become. The work is interesting, the team is experienced, and the platform, through Paritee, gives you access to colleagues and clients across the world. If you're the kind of person who reads the news before breakfast, who has opinions about the energy transition or the government's industrial strategy, and who wants to do meaningful work for organisations that really matter, this is the role for you.

What you'll be doing

  • Working alongside senior advisers on complex and genuinely fascinating briefs, you'll help clients navigate the political, regulatory and media landscape around them.
  • Supporting the development and delivery of public affairs and communications strategies for clients in critical sectors.
  • Developing and executing media relations and executive profiling strategies.
  • Producing high-quality written content, from stakeholder briefings and policy submissions to media materials and messaging frameworks.
  • Monitoring and analysing political, regulatory and media developments and turning them into clear, actionable insight.
  • Supporting new business development, including research and pitch preparation.
  • Contributing to a collaborative, entrepreneurial culture where everyone has a stake in what we're building.

What we're looking for

  • PR or public affairs agency experience. You understand how a good agency works and you're ready to help make ours even better.
  • A genuine interest in current affairs, politics and the media. You follow the news because you can't help it.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to make complex topics feel clear and compelling.
  • Curiosity, initiative and the confidence to put forward ideas. We want people who want to be heard and have something to say.
  • An interest or experience in one or more of our core sectors is a bonus, but not essential (we'll help you develop that knowledge).

What we offer

  • Hybrid working: Based in Glasgow with flexibility built in from day one – with opportunities to travel and work in our London office.
  • Paid sabbatical every four years: Proper time to recharge, travel or pursue something you've always wanted to do.
  • Company-wide bonus scheme: When the firm does well, everyone benefits.
  • Private healthcare: Because your wellbeing matters.
  • Paritee Summer School: An annual residential bringing together top talent from across our international network for learning, collaboration and a bit of fun.
  • A global network: The opportunity to work alongside colleagues at market-leading agencies across Europe and beyond.

Sound like you? We're open to hiring more than one person at this level, so if you know someone who might be the right fit, please share this with them too. To apply, send us your CV and a short note about why Fenton Fitzwilliam interests you to work@fentonfitzwilliam.com. We'd love to hear what excites you about the role, and about what we're building. Deadline for applications: Friday 17 July.
