About the Role


As a Lunchtime Teaching Assistant, you’ll support children during lunchtime routines, helping to create a positive, calm and enjoyable experience.


You will:



  • Support childrenduringmealtimes, encouraging independence and good eating habits

  • Help createa calm and nurturing environment during lunch and transition times

  • Assistwith supervising children indoors and outdoors

  • Support children’s wellbeing,comfortand emotional needs

  • Work closely withthe team tomaintainroutines

  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health, safety and hygiene

Whatwe’relooking for


Youdon’tneedpreviousnursery experience –we’llprovide the training you need.You’llneed to be caring, reliable and enjoy working with children and as part of a team.


You will:



  • Have a genuine interest in working with children

  • Be friendly,patientand supportive

  • Enjoy working as part of a team

  • Reliable and motivated to learn new skills

  • Ideally, some experience working with children (formal or informal)

  • Basic understanding of child development or early years (desirable)
