About the Role

As a Kitchen Assistant, you’ll support the day‑to‑day running of the nursery kitchen, helping to create nutritious, balanced meals that support children’s health, development and enjoyment of food.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparing fresh, healthy meals and snacks for children each day.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Help with kitchen organisation, cleaning and stock rotation.
  • Support the Nursery Chef with food preparation and service.
  • Ensure all allergens and dietary requirements are followed carefully.
  • Contribute to a smooth and positive mealtime experience for children.
