FLT Driver

You will be responsible to unload/Load Lorries in Intake area, keep area clean and organised and general duties as specified below. To facilitate the production of goods and services at the agreed specification, quality and timescale while maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.

What you will be doing –

These are the things you’ll be responsible and accountable for, and some of the tasks you’ll need to carry out

• Load and unload pallets trays Dolavs and cardboard
• Keeping the General area free from litter and food debris
• Counting checking and signing for deliveries against paper work and reporting any discrepancies
• Efficient management of material throughput, i.e. on time and correct quantity.
• Act as key contact for area of responsibility to provide accurate updates regarding progress throughout the shift
• Ensure customer quality compliance with `right first time` attitude
• Completion of pre-start checks to ensure the area and all assets are in good working order and fit for purpose for use during shift
• Accurate completion of all relevant paperwork for area
• Contribute to the production activities of the team, when required
• Identification of process improvements
• Delivering excellent service to other teams and areas of the business
• Health and safety of self, colleagues and visitors
• Be available in the area of responsibility at all times
• Train colleagues, as required
• Any reasonable request by the area leaders

Ideal Candidate –

• FLT Licenses
• Able to demonstrate a strong understanding of SHE/H&S
• Trustworthy
