It’s all about driving safely, providing good customer service, and working positively with other members of the team.
We are seeking a skilled HGV Class 1 Driver for tramping in the UK for the world’s biggest online retailer. This vital role involves managing long-distance freight deliveries, supporting our company’s commitment to efficient logistics operations from our location in Whittlesey, Peterborough.

HGV Driver Requirements:- Hold a valid commercial Driving License with the Correct Categories C / C+E
- Have a Professional Driving Qualification called the Full Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
- Hold a Digital Tachograph / Smart Card
- Be able to speak & read English satisfactorily
- Have a maximum of 6 penalty points in the Driver’s License (as well as no DD, DR or IN endorsements)
- Be flexible with start times
- Complete daily maintenance checks on delivery trucks and notify manager of any issues
- Maintain electronic logs to track routes and deliveries
We have access to the latest truck technology both on safety and sustainability.
Overtime shifts, competitive salary, dedicated truck, depot trunking role (no loading or unloading), good holiday allowance, company pension, secure on-site parking & facilities, sick pay, 5 shifts per week, circa 12 hours, flexible start times, weekend availability.
