Westmorland and Furness Registration Service is looking for a dedicated and dynamic individual to join our team. As a Ceremony Officer, you will play a key role in officiating and overseeing a range of statutory and non‑statutory ceremonies — including marriages, civil partnerships and citizenship ceremonies — while ensuring all legal and procedural requirements are met.

This is a varied and rewarding position where no two days are the same. You will work flexibly as part of a supportive team, guiding and assisting couples and families throughout their ceremony and helping to ensure everything runs smoothly. The role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact, helping people mark their special moments with confidence and care. Officiating at ceremonies in some of the most scenic locations across Westmorland and Furness, you will regularly drive to a wide range of approved venues as part of your duties.
