We have an exciting opportunity for an Alarm Handler to join our team in our dedicated Alarm Receiving Centre. In this fast-paced dynamic role, you will be responsible for handling CCTV, Intruder, Fire, Lone Worker & Personal Attack alarms, taking the necessary actions and escalations where applicable. The purpose of the role is to provide an efficient and professional service demonstrating the highest levels of Customer Service and attention to detail.
Duties:
- Answering Alarms on various platforms and taking the necessary action
- Answer all enquiries courteously and professionally
- Operate all systems within the Monitoring station
- Produce accurate reports as and when needed
- Be an effective liaison between the client, end user and emergency services
Essential Requirements:
- Must be a team player
- Excellent verbal communication/telephone skills
- High levels of customer service
- Possesses computer competency
- Demonstrates excellent observation skills
- Demonstrates a flexible attitude to changing working hours and patterns
- Be fluent in spoken and written English
Experience of this sector is not essential but could help; the right candidate must have a can-do attitude, believe in a customer-focused culture and match the company's ambitions to be the best at what we do. A SIA CCTV Licence is desirable but not essential; this can be obtained during training for the right candidate. Applicants must be over 18, have a full education/employment history, be employer vetted and Police record checked.
