About the role Fender EMEA is thrilled to announce a new opportunity for a Customer Service Advisor located in our East Grinstead office.
This position is crucial to our operations as it involves providing exceptional support to our extensive dealer network throughout Europe.
As a key member of the Dealer Support Advisors team, you will be responsible for addressing dealer queries and assisting Business Development Managers (BDMs) via email and the Fender dealer portal.
Additionally, you will play a vital role in our Consumer Relations team, offering assistance to Spanish-speaking customers through various communication channels including phone, email, and chat.

What you'll do
- Serve as the main contact for dealer service inquiries across Europe, managing communications through email and the Fender dealer portal.
- Process product returns by issuing Return Authorization (RA) numbers and tracking the return progress with third-party logistics providers, including UPS and freight forwarders, for both warranty and non-warranty cases.
- Address shipping discrepancies by raising issues with warehouse partners regarding incorrect, missing, or damaged products.
- Handle credit memo requests from sales and accounts departments through the returns system, ensuring accurate processing.
- Collaborate with Business Development Managers to resolve dealer-related customer service and inventory issues.
- Provide expert sales advice and after-sales support to Spanish-speaking consumers, working closely with the EMEA Consumer Relations team.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate records across all platforms, ensuring cases are managed effectively from initiation to resolution.
- Work cross-functionally with e Commerce, Technical, Logistics, and Sales teams to facilitate efficient problem resolution.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills.
- Strive to meet and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) related to customer satisfaction and response times.
Requirements
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish, with strong written and verbal communication skills necessary for professional interactions.
- A minimum of two years of customer service experience in environments that involve phone and email communication.
- Familiarity with Fender Musical Instruments Corporation (FMIC) product lines, including guitars, amplifiers, effects pedals, and audio software.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong IT proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel.
- Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team, managing multiple systems and tasks simultaneously.
