Key Purpose

To drive Direct to Consumer sales growth for all FMIC brand sites in new European countries including Poland, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland and Slovakia, as well as future countries as we develop the eCommerce business in the EMEA territory, plus increase catalogue & brand content on our websites.

Main Responsibilities

  • Responsible for website merchandising of non-UK and current EU regions for our eCommerce sites Fender.com, Jacksonguitars.com & Presonus.com.
  • Implement and maintain the tiered approach to merchandising for the 16 European markets per brand site.
  • Leverage the Contentful CMS to deliver elevated site experiences showcasing our New Product Introductions, Promotions & Activations to new countries.
  • Use the SearchSpring tool to merchandise highly curated search, product listing pages, cart & recommendations carousels.
  • Delivering best in class content tailored for our digital channel.
  • Work closely with the EMEA eCommerce Merchandising Manager & wider eCommerce, Marketing & Product teams to execute plans to meet revenue objectives.
  • Assist in the build & maintenance of on-site promotions in multiple currencies.
  • Localising all non-English language site content including product listing pages, product detail pages, landing pages, web banners & the checkout funnel.
  • Maintain regional promotional campaign material as well as upsell & recommendations.
  • Executing the translations process with internal & external partners.
  • Assist with eCommerce pricing processes for multiple currencies.
  • Regularly monitor inventory levels to ensure site merchandising is updated based on product availability.
  • Audit sites for improvement opportunities benefiting customers & the business.
  • Collaborate with CRM & digital marketing to support best in class marketing campaigns.
  • Day-to-day site operations in the EMEA region.
  • Regularly conduct web analytics reviews, deriving insights & actions to optimize the conversion funnel.
  • Incorporate best in class SEO practices into day-to-day merchandising.
  • Assist the Customer Service department with issues or queries relating to eCommerce.
  • Use AI Tools to assist with key role objectives.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate has experience executing multi-region eCommerce business activities, achieving sales goals, and delivering a first-class user experience. Multilingual with English & another European language is highly desirable. Aware of musical instrument trends with particular knowledge of European markets is also highly desirable. Passionate about eCommerce, digital & AI implementation developments. Conscientious & committed to providing best results.

Essential Criteria

  • Experience in eCommerce, digital marketing or similar function.
  • Experience in site merchandising and CMS tools within an eCommerce platform such as Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Magento, BigCommerce etc.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Ability to work on own initiative & be self-motivated.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written & verbal.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality & handle sensitive information.
  • Ability to prioritise work & adapt to changing priorities.
