Organon is hiring a Multiskilled Maintenance Technician to join our world-class manufacturing site in Cramlington, Northumberland. In this role, you will maintain and repair equipment within designated areas to ensure production priorities are met and equipment performs optimally. You will be responsible for maintaining and supporting equipment such as HVAC systems, dust collectors, dehumidifiers, Local Extract Ventilation Systems (LEV), Building Management Systems (BMS), and other facility-related equipment.
Role Responsibilities:
- Understand and comply with cGMP, safety standards, and site SOPs.
- Plan, perform, and document maintenance activities using SAP and other systems.
- Carry out planned maintenance of equipment, targeting 100% completion within the allowable time.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns, perform fault finding, and rectify faults to meet production needs.
- Complete Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on breakdowns as required.
- Document maintenance activities to cGMP standards in both paper and CMMS.
- Liaise with internal customers and contractors to plan and supervise maintenance activities.
- Engage in continuous improvement activities related to cGMP, productivity, and safety.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role (Mechanical or Multiskilled Discipline).
- NVQ Level 3 in mechanical engineering or relevant experience.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or a similar industry.
- SAP or similar maintenance management system.
- Project support experience.
- Knowledge of steam, chilled water, and compressed air systems.
- Knowledge of legal and cGMP HSE requirements.
