Position Overview
We are recruiting a PMO Lead reporting to the Head of Projects and Change, responsible for managing day-to-day activities for key projects, supporting project coordination, management, and execution within the business change portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Business Change Department to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Monitor project progress, milestones, and KPIs.
- Develop and implement project management tools, processes, and templates.
- Create and maintain project schedules, timelines, and resource plans.
- Prepare project documentation including business cases, charters, and status reports.
- Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies with mitigation strategies.
- Provide regular status updates and highlight concerns or delays.
- Ensure adherence to company standards, methodologies, and best practices.
- Facilitate communication among project teams, stakeholders, and senior management.
- Assist in data collection and analysis for performance reviews and evaluations.
- Organize and store project documentation properly.
- Support process improvements within the Business Change function.
- Assist in selecting and implementing a new Enterprise Project Management tool.
- Support resource flexibility within the team.
Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience in a project management or PMO role.
- Project Management certification (e.g., P30, PMP, PRINCE2) is advantageous.
- Experience in business change or transformation projects.
- Knowledge of financial tracking and budgeting.
- Familiarity with resource management and capacity planning tools.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid.
- Experience with project management software such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or Asana.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Attention to detail and proactive problem-solving approach.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
