ROLE: IFS Technical Consultant – Contract

DAY RATE: Negotiable, dependent upon skills and experience

BASE: Hybrid role – Remote/Alfreton c2-3 Office days per week

Eurocell are a stock market listed Plc and the market leader for uPVC products within the building industry. We are delighted to be recruiting a contract IFS Technical Consultant to provide expert guidance and technical support for our IFS applications. We would welcome applications from candidates with a sound understanding of IFS architecture and database structure, as well as a proven track record of optimising IFS solutions, and solid integration and data migration experience. This role requires strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work closely with both technical and business teams.

WHAT OUR IFS TECHNICAL CONSULTANTS DO:

1. Provide technical expertise in the integration of IFS to other business applications (e.g. using Edi, Boomi, IFS Connect etc.)
2. Provide system administration tasks required in preparation for go-live
3. Assist existing members of the IT Team to develop system administration skills
4. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to IFS applications.
5. Assist and guide in the data migration from existing business system (E.g. SAP) into IFS
6. Conduct workshops/training/mentoring for technical IT staff

WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR IFS TECHNICAL CONSULTANTS:

1. Minimum of 5+ years of experience with IFS Applications.
2. Proficiency in IFS technical components such as IFS Enterprise Explorer, IFS Middleware, IFS Connect and IFS Cloud
3. Develop and design the solution for any CRIM objects in IFS
4. Strong knowledge of the IFS database architecture
5. Experience with IFS configuration and integration
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
