This co-educational Independent day and boarding school in North Essex is looking to appoint a suitably qualified, creative and enthusiastic teacher to work within our Computer Science team. Currently taught in small classes at KS3, KS4 and KS5, Computer Science is growing in popularity across the school and uptake is increasing at GCSE and A Level each year. The successful person must be committed to upholding our values in delivering excellent teaching and learning to our pupils.
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Computer Science teacher to join our team across both the Prep and Senior School (KS3, KS4, KS5) but primarily focusing on KS3. This is an incredible opportunity for someone with deep knowledge of algorithms, Python programming, cyber security, and networks, who is eager to inspire and lead students to thrive in the world of technology. Applications are welcome from ECTs, or those with suitable expertise looking to enter the profession, as well as more experienced teachers: the school has an excellent support programme for teachers starting their careers and works with ISTIP to enable ECTs to be awarded full QTS. A desire to contribute fully to the school is a must. Responsibilities:
- Teach Computer Science to KS3, KS4 and KS5, with primary focus on KS3.
- Inspire and lead students in topics including algorithms, Python programming, cyber security and networks.
- Engage students in robotics, video game design, eSports and other competitive computing activities.
- Contribute to an inspiring, state-of-the-art learning environment within the CS department.
- Help students develop digital literacy skills for the 21st century.

Qualifications and Experience:
