Position Summary

Fixed‑term teaching role for the International Summer School 2026. The Summer School runs 12 July – 9 August 2026. This position covers the first two weeks, 12–26 July, with inductions from 8–11 July. The appointed teacher will be residential, supporting boarding duties and assisting with excursions and social activities.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver a Global Studies programme to international and British students (ages 12‑17) on the senior campus.
  • Integrate subjects across the curriculum and support the integration of both international and British learners.
  • Write and deliver lesson plans each week.
  • Supervise Reflection sessions and contribute to the weekly Summer School Newsletter.
  • Participate in boarding duties, excursions and social activities as required.

Qualifications

  • Advanced level in English with subject knowledge in Global Studies.
  • Degree, MA or PhD in a related subject.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching Global Studies or a related discipline to pupils aged 12‑17.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse cohort.

Employment Details
