An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Fees and Billing Manager to join our Finance department. Our Finance department is a busy and efficient team. We are looking for someone to lead the fee billing process and fee collection for the school, ensuring smooth and accurate financial operations in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Felsted is a leading day and boarding independent school based in a stunning village campus in North Essex. Founded in 1564, the school provides an exceptional holistic education to approximately 1,000 boys and girls aged three to eighteen. We employ more than 600 staff in a community‑oriented environment, ensuring pupils receive the best learning and co‑curricular activities.

Salary: c.£40,000 per annum (dependent on skills, knowledge and experience). Permanent, 37.5 hours per week, all‑year round.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the fee billing process and fee collection for the school.
  • Ensure smooth and accurate financial operations.
  • Coordinate with other departments to maintain billing schedules.
  • Oversee the completion of fee records and reporting.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications:

  • Highly organized with experience managing deadlines.
  • Proven business partnering skills.
