A day in this role can include:
Bringing pieces to life
- Cataloguing a variety of luxury handbags and accessories, with full training provided
- Completing valuations both in person and online, supported by the Head of Department
- Preparing condition reports when requested, including taking photographs and videos
Connecting with clients
- Acting as a professional point of contact for clients the going through the auction process.
- Assisting with auction viewings, meeting potential buyers face to face in both Birmingham and London
- Managing client collections and dispatch after each sale
Making each sale a success
- Collaborating closely with specialist teams including Marketing, Photography and Logistics to maximise the presentation and commercial success of each sale.
- Assisting with the ticketing and laying out of the auction for viewings
- Keeping workspace and storage areas within the Birmingham office organised and presentable
- Contributing market insights, collection research and content ideas to support marketing campaigns, digital engagement and client events.
- Getting involved wherever needed, with general ad hoc requests from your Head of Department or supporting the wider team
