This role will suit someone who really enjoys business development, and by that we don’t mean writing the odd article or attending a local networking event. It means really driving the future direction of the firm – identifying areas for growth and spotting emerging trends and tech, new client acquisition, international travel, and representing the practice both internally and externally to the wider industry.
Don’t worry, there will still be plenty of time for the fundamental day to day of being a patent attorney with considerable work originating from direct clients across therapeutics, antibodies and antibody conjugates, cell therapies, live immunotherapies, and synthetic biology and diagnostics.
The firm has successfully taken on experienced hires before and understand what it takes to welcome Partners – there will be no transition period, if you’re a Partner you will join as a Partner. The firm will also consider candidates who will be stepping up to Partner if they can demonstrate an aptitude for business development and people management.
You will be a UK and European qualified Patent Attorney with a technical background in biotechnology.
