A well-established IP firm is looking to add a finalist level patent attorney to its busy Life Sciences team. The role offers a mix of prosecution, drafting, and strategic work, with plenty of direct client contact, particularly with start-ups, SMEs, and high growth tech.

There’s also a heavy focus on the early stages of the IP process, with attorneys encouraged to collaborate with inventors and investors on securing and defending their ideas through complex due diligence and strategic planning. You’ll work closely with experienced Partners and gain exposure to a wide range of technologies across biotechnology, food, precision medicine, and cleantech.

You’ll also get the chance to diversify your portfolio further through cross office/discipline teams, including assisting in the continuing growth of a smaller regional office. This is a great opportunity for someone who is nearing qualification, or possibly recently qualified, and the chance to build their profile in a collaborative London based team.
