Join a large firm of patent and trademark attorneys as a key part of their IP formalities team. This is a broad and varied role that will suit someone who enjoys autonomy over the renewals process.

Responsibilities include:

  • Filing renewal applications in both patents and trademarks in patent offices around the world;
  • Managing late and lapsed notifications and coordinating with clients;
  • Managing renewal certification;
  • Organising and processing reminders to clients;
  • Troubleshooting and reporting discrepancies and keeping on top of client communications.

As the role develops, your responsibilities will too, allowing for interesting career development over time as what you do in the job evolves.

Candidates should have previous IP renewals experience and have used InProtech. You will be reasonably IT dextrous with previous experience of using Microsoft Excel.

This is a hybrid position and you must be able to work in Central London at least two days a week. The position does not offer visa sponsorship for overseas applicants; you must have a right to work in the UK.
