Fella & Jones is partnering exclusively with a globally recognised luxury contemporary fashion brand in the search of a new Merchandiser/ Senior Merchandiser

As the business continues to scale across ecommerce, retail and wholesale, it is seeking a highly analytical Merchandiser to strengthen commercial planning, reporting and trading insight.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, building effective reporting tools and turning complex information into clear commercial actions.

The Role

As Merchandiser, you will manage trading performance, stock planning and reporting across a growing global product range.

You will take ownership of weekly and seasonal analysis, ensuring senior stakeholders have accurate, accessible and commercially meaningful information.

Advanced Google Sheets capability is essential.

The successful candidate will be confident creating reporting tools, improving existing trackers, automating processes and working with large, complex datasets.

You will combine analytical rigour with strong product awareness, helping the business make informed decisions across sales, margin, inventory and availability.

  • Trading, Reporting & Analysis
  • Own weekly trading reports, identifying risks, opportunities and recommended actions.
  • Build, maintain and improve reporting tools and dashboards in Google Sheets.
  • Create clear, accurate reporting processes that support faster commercial decision-making.
  • Manage WSSI and OTB trackers, ensuring sales, stock and intake plans remain accurate.
  • Analyse performance by product, category, channel, market and customer.
  • Present insights and commercial recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Partner with Ecommerce, Retail and Wholesale teams to maximise availability and minimise missed demand.
  • Track sales, margin, sell-through, stock cover and intake against plan.
  • Deliver seasonal markdown analysis and recommendations.
  • Lead in-season and post-season reviews, translating findings into future actions.
  • Planning & Strategy
  • Use performance data, customer insights and market trends to inform seasonal planning.
  • Support assortment, pricing, intake and inventory decisions that improve margin and stock efficiency.
  • Produce detailed analysis for range reviews and sign-off meetings.
  • Work closely with Buying to maintain accurate range plans and keep product on the critical path.
  • Develop scalable reporting tools to support continued international growth.
  • Maintain effective supplier relationships and monitor delivery performance.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline reporting and improve data accuracy across the department.
  • Commercial Awareness
  • Understand the luxury contemporary customer, competitive landscape and brand positioning.
  • Combine product instinct with detailed numerical analysis.
  • Monitor competitor pricing, promotions, product launches and market activity.
  • Translate data into concise insights and practical commercial recommendations.
  • Balance brand integrity with sales, margin and inventory objectives.

Skills & Experience

  • Currently operating at Junior Merchandiser or Merchandiser level, ideally within luxury, premium or contemporary fashion.
  • Expert-level Google Sheets skills, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, lookups, data validation and dashboard creation.
  • Experience building reporting tools, trackers and repeatable analytical processes.
  • Comfortable working with large datasets and translating findings into commercial actions.
  • Highly analytical, numerically confident and exceptionally detail-oriented.
  • Strong understanding of WSSI, OTB, stock management, forecasting and markdown planning.
  • Confident presenting reports and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Experience overseeing a department or supporting junior team members.
  • Collaborative, organised and comfortable working across multiple functions.
  • Genuine interest in luxury fashion, product and the contemporary consumer.
