Fella & Jones are delighted to be partnering with a renowned luxury brand on the search for a Senior Merchandiser / Merchandising Manager to join their growing team in London. This is a pivotal role within the business, with a strong focus on planning, forecasting, and trading across both retail stores and e-commerce. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving commercial performance, optimising stock levels, and supporting strategic business growth through data-led decision making.
Working closely with senior leadership, you will oversee seasonal forecasting, trading analysis, inventory management, and assortment planning to ensure a balanced and profitable product offering across all channels.
Key Responsibilities- Lead planning and forecasting strategies across stores and online channels.
- Analyse sales performance, customer demand, and market trends to drive trading decisions and maximise profitability.
- Own weekly and seasonal trade reporting, forecasting, and stock management.
- Manage inventory levels, replenishment, allocations, and continuity lines to optimise sell-through.
- Identify commercial opportunities and risks, providing strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Support long-term financial planning and performance forecasting across the business.
- 5+ years’ experience within merchandising in luxury, premium fashion, or lifestyle retail.
- Strong planning, forecasting, and trading experience across retail and e-commerce.
- Highly analytical with excellent numerical and advanced Excel skills.
- Commercially astute with strong financial acumen and stock management expertise.
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
