Retail Operations and Events Manager- High Profile – Sporting Events
Up to £80,000 plus package
London with international travel
Fella & Jones are proud to be partnering with a high-profile sports personality who is rapidly growing their fashion brand on a global stage.
We’re seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Retail & Events Manager to oversee international retail activations for a leading sports fashion label. You’ll be at the heart of delivering world-class pop-up experiences at global events, combining operational precision with creative flair. From strategic planning and logistics through to seamless on-site execution, you’ll ensure every project runs smoothly and leaves a lasting impact.
The Role
- Take full ownership of end-to-end retail event planning, including location sourcing, site visits, scheduling, staffing, and infrastructure.
- Lead each activation as the central point of contact, collaborating closely with internal teams across marketing, design, and merchandising,
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and vendors worldwide to deliver high-quality, bespoke retail spaces,
- Create tailored store layouts for each event, sourcing fixtures and fittings as required,
- Work closely with supply chain teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of stock and equipment,
- Manage permits, compliance, and health & safety requirements,
- Deliver projects on time, within budget, and in line with commercial targets,
- Oversee on-site operations from build and installation through to breakdown,
- Motivate and manage event staff to deliver exceptional customer service,
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational challenges quickly and effectively,
- Analyse performance post-event, reporting on results and identifying opportunities for improvement.
About You
5+ years’ experience in retail operations (experience within international sports or events is highly advantageous),
Able to commit to approximately 3 months per year on-site at international events, including weekends,
A confident and inspiring leader who thrives in high-pressure, fast-paced environments,
Exceptionally organised, proactive, and solutions-focused,
Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and supplier management skills,
Passionate about sport and fashion, with a clear understanding of what drives outstanding customer experiences.
