Fella & Jones are delighted to partner with a design-led premium retailer in the search for exceptional design talent to join their team.

We are currently looking to connect with passionate Junior Designers from a Womenswear background, specifically with experience in Jersey.

About the Role:

Reporting directly to the Senior Designer, you will support the creative process, contributing to the development of new-season collections. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience designing beautifully crafted, high-quality jersey pieces that reflect the brand’s vision and aesthetic.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing jersey dresses and separates, ensuring alignment with the brand’s identity.
• Conduct trend research, fabric sourcing, and mood board creation to inspire seasonal collections.
• Support the team in fabric selection, trims, stitching, finishing, and print development.
• Create technical drawings and detailed tech packs for factory communication.
• Work closely with the wider design and product teams, attending fit sessions and supporting garment development.
• Use Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to develop sketches, CADs, and design concepts.

About You:

• A degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
• Previous experience (internship or junior level) in womenswear design, with a focus on jersey.
• Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and embellishments.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator & Photoshop).
• A keen eye for detail, creativity, and a passion for premium womenswear.
