The brand is seeking a talented Designer to oversee their expanding Handbags & Leather Goods collection. With growing global success thanks to its stunning products and unique design vision, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of their dynamic team.
The Role:
Reporting directly to the Creative Director, you will be responsible for shaping the creative vision and overseeing the design process for the brand’s leather goods collection, ensuring it aligns with the brand’s values and aesthetic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design process from concept to final product, under the guidance of the Creative Director.
- Research trends and provide creative input for new collections.
- Create detailed hand sketches and technical drawings for pattern making and production.
- Attend fittings and collaborate with pattern makers, associates, and other designers to ensure quality and consistency.
- Work closely with textile designers for any leather treatments and finishes.
Requirements of the Role:
- Previous experience designing for a contemporary brand in the Handbags & Leather Goods sector.
- A strong commercial understanding and alignment with the brand's DNA.
- Passionate about pushing creative boundaries with a keen eye for detail.
