We’re partnering with one of the most talked-about names in British womenswear on a newly created Head of Technical role.
This brand is enjoying exceptional growth, built on a reputation for beautifully constructed, effortlessly cool clothing that has become a wardrobe essential for women who want their workwear to look as good as it performs. Precision, fit and fabric are at the heart of everything they make, and this role will be central to protecting that standard as the business scales.
The role
Reporting into senior leadership, you’ll lead the technical function end to end, ensuring every garment meets the exacting quality the brand is known for. You’ll:
- Lead, develop and inspire a team of Garment Technologists, building a high-performing, collaborative technical function
- Own quality control across all categories, setting standards and ensuring consistency from sampling through to bulk production
- Oversee the creation and accuracy of tech packs, grading and specifications
- Partner closely with the Design team to bring their vision to life without compromising on fit, construction or commercial viability
- Work with suppliers and factories to resolve fit and quality issues and drive continuous improvement
What you’ll bring
- Proven experience leading a technical or garment technology team within a contemporary fashion brand
- Strong formalwear and tailoring expertise is essential; you’ll know a well-cut jacket and trouser inside out
- Deep knowledge of garment construction, fit, fabrics and quality standards
- A collaborative leader who thrives working alongside Design and Product teams
- High attention to detail with the confidence to uphold standards under pressure
