Fella and Jones are delighted to be partnered with this Global Womens Contemporary Luxury brand in the search of a Garment Technologist on Womenswear. You will work closely with the team in-house and external manufacturers from prototype through to delivery, working closely with designers on a daily basis to help develop the product as well as plan and run all fit meetings.

The company are interested in discussing this exciting new opportunity with candidates at either Junior Garment Tech or established Garment Tech level. Within the role you will be responsible for the following:

  • Management of tech packs for new styles including consumptions and construction notes
  • Working alongside the production team to develop CADs and develop prototypes
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of garment construction, pattern cutting, fitting, and grading
  • Understanding of testing, analysing test reports, and garment care
  • Strong knowledge of women’s RTW ideally at a luxury level
  • Pre-empting and eliminating any potential production issues in line with the critical path
  • Significant experience of working within a luxury retailer/supplier/manufacturer
