SAFETY ENGINEER

Summary The role focuses on developing and implementing safety programs, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a strong safety culture across the organization. The role offers opportunity to act as a resource for colleagues with less experience and share their knowledge and expertise related to the HSE Engineering discipline, solves complex problems and uses their discipline-specific knowledge to improve the products or services. Key Responsibilities Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification studies Develop, implement, and maintain health, safety, and environmental management systems. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, industry standards, and company safety procedures. Participate in project design reviews, Hazard and Operability study (HAZOP), Hazard Identification (HAZID) Experience in conducting technical safety studies. Providing specialist technical input and advice to resolve complex problems. Project planning and manhour budgeting Prepare proposals and coordinating bids Support and guide junior engineers or team members where required, Ensure the business complies with all applicable local, national, and industry-specific regulations. Develop and deliver in-house health, safety, and environmental awareness training. Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards Qualifications
