Felder Group is looking for an ambitious Apprentice Service Engineer to join our expert team. As part of our Service Department, you'll learn how to:
- Repair and maintain machinery
- Dismantle, repair, and rebuild mechanical components
- Work on gears, bearings, belts, motors, and spindles
- Carry out planned maintenance on industry-leading equipment
- Develop electrical engineering skills
- Learn safe electrical isolation procedures
- Diagnose faults on sensors, motors, switches, and control systems
- Read and understand electrical diagrams and schematics
- Assist with electrical repairs and component replacement
- Work with pneumatic systems
- Repair and maintain compressed air systems
- Replace air lines, regulators, filters, and cylinders
- Troubleshoot faults affecting machine performance

- Respond to equipment breakdowns
- Help minimise downtime for customers
