Key Responsibilities

  • Support the end-to-end deal lifecycle, from pre-closing preparation through funding and settlement.
  • Coordinate with the investment team, legal counsel, agents, custodians and administrators so deals close on time.
  • Prepare and review funding memos, closing checklists, wire instructions and cash movements.
  • Set up new positions and facilities, and process amendments, drawdowns, repayments and restructurings.
  • Track conditions precedent, KYC and onboarding requirements for counterparties and borrowers.
  • Oversee daily cash and position reconciliations with the fund administrator and custodian.
  • Monitor loan servicing activity, including interest, fees, rate resets and principal payments.
  • Support capital calls, distributions and investor-related operational processes.
  • Assist with NAV review, valuations support and month-end and quarter-end processes.
  • Act as a key point of contact for service providers and manage those relationships day to day.
  • Map existing workflows, identify bottlenecks and design scalable, well-controlled processes.
  • Help select, implement and optimise operational systems such as portfolio management, loan administration and data tools.
  • Automate manual tasks and build reporting that gives the team better, faster information.
  • Write and maintain procedures and controls documentation as the function evolves.
  • Strengthen the operational control framework as AUM and deal volume grow.
  • Support audit, regulatory and investor due diligence requests.
  • Contribute to wider projects as the business continues to grow.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of operations experience at a credit fund, asset manager, investment bank, fund administrator or loan agency business.
  • Hands-on knowledge of private credit, direct lending, leveraged loans or other credit instruments, and the operational lifecycle of a loan.
  • Direct experience supporting deal closings and settlements.
  • Strong understanding of fund structures, cash management and reconciliations.
  • Advanced Excel skills and a genuine interest in using technology to improve how work gets done.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with sound judgement on what matters and when to elevate.
  • Clear, confident communicator who builds good relationships with deal teams and external providers.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, juggling multiple deals and priorities.

Above all, you are a builder: proactive, curious and keen to take ownership as the function grows.
