Following a period of significant expansion, the company continues to scale rapidly and is looking to strengthen its finance function with the addition of a high-calibre accounting professional. The successful candidate will join a high-performing finance team and gain broad exposure across group reporting, business partnering and finance transformation initiatives, working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the group's financial reporting and control environment, while helping to build scalable processes and reporting capabilities to support continued growth. The position offers significant visibility across the organisation and the chance to contribute to strategic initiatives alongside core accounting responsibilities.
Key responsibilities:- Supporting the monthly group reporting and consolidation process.
- Preparing statutory accounts and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards (IFRS experience advantageous).
- Managing key elements of the year-end audit process and liaising with external auditors.
- Maintaining and enhancing the group's financial control framework.
- Partnering with operational and commercial stakeholders to deliver high-quality financial analysis and insight.
- Driving improvements in finance processes through automation, systems development and the effective use of data.
- Working closely with technology and data teams to enhance reporting infrastructure and data integrity.
- A recognised accounting qualification, ideally ACA (or an equivalent international qualification).
- A strong academic background.
- Excellent technical accounting and financial reporting skills.
- Advanced Excel capabilities and a strong affinity for data, systems and technology.
- Experience using, developing or improving finance systems and reporting tools, with exposure to platforms such as Power BI and Tableau.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and manipulate large, complex datasets.
- A proactive, hands-on approach and the confidence to operate effectively within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders across finance, technology and the wider business.
