Our client is looking to appoint a Corporate Controller to join its growing finance function. This is a broad and commercially focused role offering significant exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to play a key role in the continued development of the business. Key Responsibilities

  • Ownership of monthly and quarterly management reporting.
  • Preparation and review of statutory financial statements and regulatory filings.
  • Management of the annual audit process and external adviser relationships.
  • Oversight of budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning activities.
  • Development and enhancement of financial controls, reporting processes, and governance frameworks.
  • Delivery of insightful financial and operational analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Partnering with senior leadership on business performance, growth initiatives, and ad hoc projects.
  • Supporting corporate transactions, financing activities, and wider strategic initiatives as required.
  • Driving process improvement and leveraging data to improve reporting quality and efficiency.

Candidate Profile

  • ACA, CA or ACCA qualified.
  • 3–5 years' post-qualified experience.
  • Trained within a recognised audit practice, ideally one of the larger accounting firms.
  • Experience using business intelligence and data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms to deliver meaningful management information and performance insights.
  • Comfortable working with multiple data sources and translating financial and operational data into actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.
  • Strong systems aptitude with experience improving reporting processes through automation, dashboard development, and workflow optimisation.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex financial information.
  • Demonstrable experience working with large datasets and using data to drive decision-making.
  • Strong attention to detail combined with a commercial mindset.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build credibility across all levels of an organisation.
