Felbridge Partners have exclusively partnered with a high-growth Financial Services organisation seeking an exceptional Head of FP&A to lead and evolve its commercial finance and strategic planning capability. This is a highly visible role operating at the centre of the business, partnering closely with the CFO and wider C-Suite to drive performance, scalability, automation and data-led decision making. The successful candidate will combine strong financial acumen with advanced analytical and systems expertise, helping to build a best-in-class FP&A function within a fast-paced and evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the FP&A function, managing and mentoring a high-performing team
- Partner with senior leadership and C-Suite stakeholders to support strategic decision making and commercial performance
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and scenario analysis across the business
- Deliver insightful, data-driven analysis and MI to support growth initiatives, profitability improvement and operational efficiency
- Build scalable reporting frameworks and automate manual processes to improve speed, accuracy and transparency of financial information
- Lead the enhancement of financial systems, dashboards and planning tools to create a highly automated FP&A environment
- Develop advanced visualisation and reporting capabilities using BI tools and data analytics platforms
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, Product, Risk and Technology teams to improve data quality and business insight
- Support Board and investor reporting requirements with high-quality analysis and presentation materials
- Identify opportunities to optimise processes, controls, and performance measurement frameworks
- Act as a key finance leader during periods of change, transformation and continued business growth
Candidate Profile
- Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong academic background
- Proven FP&A leadership experience within a high-growth Financial Services environment preferred
- Demonstrated experience managing and developing finance teams
- Highly analytical with strong commercial acumen and problem-solving capability
- Advanced systems and data skills with the ability to translate complex information into actionable insight.
- Desirable: Power BI, Tableau and/or Anaplan, SQL, Python, Advanced Excel modelling
- Experience driving automation and finance transformation initiatives
- Confident operating in a fast-paced, data-driven environment with exposure to senior stakeholders and executive leadership
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence at all levels
