Felbridge Partners have exclusively partnered with a high-growth Financial Services organisation seeking an exceptional Head of FP&A to lead and evolve its commercial finance and strategic planning capability. This is a highly visible role operating at the centre of the business, partnering closely with the CFO and wider C-Suite to drive performance, scalability, automation and data-led decision making.

The successful candidate will combine strong financial acumen with advanced analytical and systems expertise, helping to build a best-in-class FP&A function within a fast-paced and evolving environment.

  • Partner with senior leadership and C-Suite stakeholders to support strategic decision making and commercial performance.
  • Deliver insightful, data-driven analysis and MI to support growth initiatives, profitability improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Build scalable reporting frameworks and automate manual processes to improve speed, accuracy and transparency of financial information.
  • Lead the enhancement of financial systems, dashboards and planning tools to create a highly automated FP&A environment.
  • Develop advanced visualisation and reporting capabilities using BI tools and data analytics platforms.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, Product, Risk and Technology teams to improve data quality and business insight.
  • Support Board and investor reporting requirements with high-quality analysis and presentation materials.
  • Identify opportunities to optimise processes, controls, and performance measurement frameworks.
  • Act as a key finance leader during periods of change, transformation and continued business growth.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent).
  • Strong academic background.
  • Proven FP&A leadership experience within a high-growth Financial Services environment preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and developing finance teams.
  • Highly analytical with strong commercial acumen and problem-solving capability.
  • Advanced systems and data skills with the ability to translate complex information into actionable insight.
  • Power BI, Tableau and/or Anaplan, SQL, Python, Advanced Excel modelling.
  • Experience driving automation and finance transformation initiatives.
  • Confident operating in a fast-paced, data-driven environment with exposure to senior stakeholders and executive leadership.
