We have a great opportunity for a warm and welcoming individual to join us in our Bath Studio. At the heart of our Front of House team, you will be working with those who ensure the smooth and effective running of our Studio each day, providing plenty of hospitality and first-class support to everyone you work with. No two days are the same in this role, full of opportunities to learn office and business administration skills in a starting position, each day will provide new challenges and new people to work alongside.

You will have daily tasks to complete, including administrative and hands-on support to the Project Support and Architectural Teams. You will also work closely with our Receptionist; meeting and greeting people, answering the phones, and providing general front of house support. The role has responsibility for keeping our studio fully stocked with all the essentials we need, so it would suit someone who loves to be organised and keep things tidy. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident, outgoing individual who thrives in a busy, multi-tasked environment.

Areas of Responsibility
  • To ensure that all the studio shared spaces are well maintained, always cleaned, and ready for use, including meeting rooms, kitchens, staff break out areas, and reception.
  • Monitoring and ordering stationary supplies.
  • Manage print room, monitoring paper stock and re-ordering when necessary, investigating problems with printers and organising an engineer if required.
  • General secretarial duties; photocopying, scanning, archiving of work in an accurate manner.
  • Support the Group Coordinator, Studio Manager, and support team as required.
  • Basic data recording i.e., paper use monitoring and food monitoring/stock control.
  • Back up support to the receptionist. Answering telephone calls politely, promptly, and in a professional manner; screening and directing calls, passing on messages promptly and accurately, and arranging couriers.
  • Ensure the kitchens, meeting rooms, and public areas are kept clear and presentable.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks at once.
  • Polite, friendly, and welcoming.
  • Good telephone manner.
  • Motivated and enthusiastic.
  • Confident and outgoing with the ability to use initiative and work without constant supervision.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint is essential.
  • Knowledge of InDesign and Adobe packages beneficial, but not essential.
