We\'re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our friendly team at Fego Ascot .
Fego is a relaxed, welcoming, home-from-home restaurant with South African roots, where our guests enjoy delicious, freshly made food and warm, personal service in a no-rules environment. We\'re a daytime-only business , but we operate in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
What you\'ll be doing:

• Supporting the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
• Actively leading the team on the floor, hosting guests, and maintaining high service standards.
• Managing rotas, stock control, costs and KPIs to help drive profitability.
• Training, supporting and developing an experienced and hardworking team.
• Taking the lead during events and peak trading periods with calm, clear leadership.

What we\'re looking for:

• Previous experience as a restaurant supervisor or assistant manager .
• Hands-on leadership with strong communication and people skills.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to plan, prioritise and manage time independently.
• A true team player - someone who works closely across both front and back of house.
• Comfortable in a busy, fast-paced restaurant environment, especially on weekends.
