We are currently looking for a passionate Assistant Manager to join our team in Fego Ascot.
The Role
As an Assistant Manager you will work closely with the General Manager to support the day-to-day running of the restaurant , ensuring excellent service, strong team leadership and smooth operations.
You will be hands-on during service , leading from the front, supporting the team and making sure every guest has a great experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
β’ Supporting the daily operation of the restaurant
β’ Leading the team during busy service periods
β’ Hosting guests and ensuring a warm, welcoming atmosphere
β’ Managing rotas, teams levels and team organisation
β’ Supporting stock control and weekly stock takes
β’ Monitoring sales, labour and operational KPIs
β’ Ensuring service standards and quality are consistently high
β’ Supporting team training, development and coaching
β’ Helping manage busy trading periods and events such as Royal Ascot Week
β’ Maintaining strong communication between kitchen and floor teams
This is a hands-on leadership role , requiring someone who is proactive, organised and comfortable working in a busy restaurant environment.
What We Are Looking For
You should:
β’ Have previous experience as a Supervisor or Assistant Manager in a restaurant or cafΓ©
β’ Be confident leading a team during busy service
β’ Be able to think on your feet and solve problems quickly
β’ Have strong communication and leadership skills
β’ Be organised with good planning and time management
β’ Be proactive and able to work using your own initiative
β’ Enjoy working as part of a close-knit team environment
