Fantastic opportunity to join our friendly Fego team! This is a DAY ONLY role, but weekend availability is required.
Life at Fego: Our meals are all cooked from fresh and we pride ourselves on our amazing dishes which encourage a large and loyal group of regular guests. The restaurant gets busy and we don’t like to keep people waiting when they’re hungry, so the kitchen is a hub of activity, with dishes going out quickly without impacting on the quality of our food. Fego is a TEAM – no front of house/kitchen divides.
Being a Chef with Fego: You will be joining a busy kitchen team where all our dishes are cooked from scratch using fresh ingredients. Daily prep and forward planning are key for this role, as you will need to ensure the team have enough ingredients to cover through busy service. As well as helping with prep you will be involved in areas of cooking, helping to put together dishes for our guests as directed by the head chef, running your own section and ensuring the kitchen is always compliant with health and safety and food safety.
