In this high-impact role, you will partner with Operations, Technology, Regulatory, Compliance, and Business teams to analyze, redesign, and optimize Business flows, driving productivity, efficiency, and operational excellence. What you will be doing:

  • Gather, validate and document detailed business needs, user stories, and functional specifications
  • Evaluate business requests and needs against the corporate strategy
  • Hand-over requirements to development teams
  • Support user-acceptance testing (UAT) and assist with change management
  • Recognize and recommend opportunities for innovations
  • Take ownership of initiatives and work independently to successful conclusion
  • Maintain close partnerships with collaborating departments e.g. IT, Operations and Regulatory
  • Engage with all levels of business stakeholders to identify business needs

What do you bring with you:

  • Strong analytical thinking capabilities
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills with the ability to interact effectively throughout various functional groups and hierarchical levels
  • Strong aptitude for root-cause analysis and strategic prioritization
  • Experience in designing and documenting business/system requirements
  • Affinity with technology and innovative mindset
  • Willingness to travel frequently (25% or more) to various FedEx locations in Europe
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken) to present to technical and business audiences
  • Previous exposure to Customs Clearance and Business Analysis is an advantage
  • Preferably: Business school/University level education, in business-administration (MBA), business-engineering, master’s in information technology or business analytics, or similar
  • Preferably: Business Analyst certificate, or willing to study to obtain this
