The Station Manager – Operations is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a station ensuring efficient service delivery, compliance with safety and regulatory standards, staff performance, and customer satisfaction.

Overview

This role includes managing personnel, implementing operational procedures, and serving as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders at the station level.

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Manager Station Operations at FedEx London City. The station provides FedEx customers with direct access to the thriving commercial hub of the City of London.

Hours: 37.50 per week

Salary: £60,000 to £65,000 dependent on experience.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Directing, coaching and developing team leaders and team members to ensure they provide highest possible service in a safe and compliant operational environment
  • Educating your team on current processes and procedures, targets and goals
  • Making sure all activities are in line with company goals and regulatory requirements
  • Overseeing operational projects and initiatives to ensure planned results are delivered on time and within budget
  • Managing and controlling your station\’s costs and budget
  • Leading continuous optimisation and improvement of business processes
  • Ensuring your station\’s accurate and timely reporting
