We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Dispatch Agent.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing driver paperwork
- Completing breakdowns
- Coordinating the distribution of work among Linehaul drivers to help them achieve the hub's operational goals in the most efficient way
- Updating systems with accurate information to ensure correct execution of the delivery assignments
- Providing support to the drivers and assisting them with issue resolution
- Contacting customers when needed to obtain additional information or advise on potential service-related issues
- Proactively reporting any issues that occurred to management and compiling reports on hub's productivity, volumes and performance
Qualifications:
- Experience in coordinating a team in a busy transport and/or dispatch environment is an advantage
- Good Microsoft Office skills
