We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as an Operations Supervisor at Cambridge.

Working Hours: 40 hours per week. Shift pattern: Sunday 23.00 – 08.00, Monday to Thursday 20.30 – 08.30 (1 hour break).

Compensation: £16.57 per hour (premia paid for hours worked between 19.00‑22.00 and 22.00‑06.00).

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of operatives and drivers.
  • Ensure all team members are motivated and treated fairly and consistently.
  • Plan and take action to achieve service level targets.
  • Educate your team on business goals and service objectives.
  • Ensure your team follows safe, secure and operationally compliant working practices during the shift.

Qualifications:

  • Experience managing a shift and team in a busy freight processing environment is desirable.
  • Ability to manage own and team’s time effectively with attention to detail.
  • Energetic and enthusiastic.
  • Strong customer focus.
  • Good communication skills.
