Position Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team of Couriers at FedEx Barking.

Working Hours & Compensation

  • Scheduled weekly hours: 45 per week
  • Shift pattern: Monday to Friday 07.30 - 17.30 (60 minute break)
  • Salary: £15.01 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Represent FedEx in front of our customers, courteously picking up and delivering their packages
  • Drive vehicles in FedEx fleet on defined routes in various postcodes, ensuring customers’ packages get to the right place on time
  • Ensure vehicles are operated safely and legally
  • Follow all FedEx Health and Safety and other company policies and procedures

Qualifications / What you need

  • Reliable team player
  • Energetic and enthusiastic
  • Strong customer focus
  • Good communication skills
  • Eye for detail to make sure paperwork is correct
  • Holding a valid driving licence for the type of vehicle assigned (minimum 2+ years experience preferred)
  • Adaptability to external driving conditions and circumstances
  • Commercial driving experience (advantage)
  • Basic geographical knowledge
