Position Summary
We have a rewarding opportunity to join our team of Couriers at Fed Ex Preston.
Working hours: 45 hours per week.
Shift pattern: Monday to Friday 08:00 – 18:00 (60 minute break).
Responsibilities
- Represent Fed Ex in front of our customers, courteously picking up and delivering their packages.
- Drive vehicles in Fed Ex fleet on defined routes in various postcodes, ensuring packages reach their destinations on time.
- Ensure vehicles are operated safely and legally.
- Follow all Fed Ex Health and Safety and other company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Reliable team player.
- Energetic and enthusiastic.
- Strong customer focus.
- Good communication skills.
- Attention to detail to ensure paperwork is correct.
- Valid driving licence for the type of vehicle assigned; at least 2 years of experience is advantageous.
- Adaptability to external driving conditions and circumstances.
- Commercial driving experience is an advantage.
- Basic geographical knowledge.
