Position Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team of Couriers at Preston. Working hours: 45 hours per week. Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 08.30 - 18.30 (60 minute lunch break). Salary: £15.01 per hour. License: 7.5t / C1 – must have CPC and DQC.
Responsibilities
- Represent FedEx in front of customers, courteously picking up and delivering packages.
- Drive vehicles in the FedEx fleet on defined routes in various postcodes, ensuring timely delivery.
- Operate vehicles safely and legally at all times.
- Follow all FedEx Health and Safety and company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Reliable team player.
- Energetic and enthusiastic.
- Strong customer focus.
- Good communication skills.
- Eye for detail to ensure paperwork is correct.
- Valid driving license for the vehicle type assigned; two or more years of experience is an advantage.
- Adaptability to external driving conditions and circumstances.
- Commercial driving experience is an advantage.
- Basic geographical knowledge.
