This role is field‑based and reports directly to the Manager – District Sales.

Role Summary

As an Account Executive, you will attract, retain and grow a portfolio of SME customer accounts within a specific territory. You will win new business by networking locally, retain and develop your existing accounts, and serve as a critical link between customers and FedEx.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attract, retain and grow SME customer accounts in the assigned territory.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through local market networking.
  • Maintain and develop existing account portfolio, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
  • Provide relevant information to customers, ensuring appropriate service and support.
  • Make daily sales calls and visit customers in the field; allocate time for office calls.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Resilience and drive to achieve results in a competitive market.
  • Proven track record of new business sales with account retention and development experience.
  • Experience in field‑based sales and client relationship management.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary up to £35,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
  • On‑target earnings (OTE) potential.
  • Comprehensive benefits package and full training.
  • Annual working hours: 37.5 (08:30‑17:00, 60‑minute lunch break).
