Base: Victoria School / Victoria College campus, Northfield B31 1LD

Permanent Full time – 36.5 hours per week

Actual salary – £28,598.00 – £34,434.00 p.a. (subject to job evaluation)

Working Pattern: 5:30 am to 1:30 pm (Monday to Thursday) & 5:30 am to 12:30 pm (Friday)

Responsibilities

  • The Building Services Manager will work closely with the Site Manager and share responsibility for the security, safety, maintenance and cleanliness of the estate, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for the whole school/college community.
  • The role includes coordination and management of external contractors and the requirement to undertake reactive repairs and maintenance across the campus.
  • The manager is also responsible for key holding and responding to out‑of‑hours alarm call‑outs on occasion.

Qualifications

  • Ability to speak fluent English (Part 7 of the Immigration Act, 2016)
  • Commitment to safeguarding – successful applicants must obtain DBS enhanced disclosure
  • All candidates must provide DBS enhanced disclosure.
