Main Function
Main Function of the role:
- Act as a key member of the IT Service Desk team to provide a consistently high level of first line user support and assistance to the global Federated Hermes business.
Responsibilities
- Provide first line technical user support for all Federated Hermes desktop and mobile services.
- Ensure that calls follow the required path to the point of resolution in a timely and efficient manner.
- Co-ordinate and communicate with other teams and vendors when resolution cannot be performed directly within the Service Desk.
- Be consistently visible and accessible to the Federated Hermes business.
- Provide support for any business projects requiring user support or interaction.
- Work a 7am-6pm 8-hour shift pattern with an out-of-hours on-call rota.

- Previously worked in an investment management company
- Experience working with technologies such as: Citrix XenDesktop/XenApp, Mimecast, AppSense/Ivanti
Minimum Experience Required
- Experience in an IT Support analyst role
- Experience working with technologies such as: Teams, Active Directory
Candidate Profile
The successful individual must be proactive, with a positive “can do” attitude and be able to fulfil all aspects of the role with minimal supervision. Adaptability to changing business requirements and prioritising conflicting issues appropriately is a must and being a team player is essential.
The candidate must display the ability to seek support from appropriate channels/resources or to independently research the issue and apply a suitable permanent fix/resolution. Additionally, the candidate should have a strong understanding of best practice service desk call flow. A flexible approach is essential as the job holder will be required to provide cover for emergency support.
